Spring has sprung...
Yesterday, it seemed overnight, the landscape went from gray to brilliant green, white, pink and purple.

One of my favorite holidays.

First shoots of spring from last week.
The birds decided the wreath was a perfect place to
put a nest. Yes, the wreath should have been taken
down months ago, but it's still green....
The wreath had been hanging on the door until I left the door
open last week and the birds flew straight into the trailer, in
total disorientation.

Zorro Goats/Shoes/Fish
My brother and his family are raising goats. This buck liked posing for pictures. He faced me and took a step toward me. I stepped back and he whirled at an angle to me and reared up, pawing the air in the classic Zorro stance, still looking at me. I didn't get the shot as I was shocked and thought he was going to charge. He didn't but by that time I was outside the gate.

Road trip
My South Carolina sister is in town. We had lunch at the Merc on Wednesday when she blew through town on the way to north central Kansas. I'm headed that way this weekend.
