Weird news
An unidentified robot sculpture was found on the grounds of the State Capitol in Topeka, Kansas. The sculpture was deemed harmless.

Rivers and Bridge

Entrance to Kaw River at Lecompton. Rains a few weeks ago raised the level of the river to the bank, eliminating the sandbars.

Crane on top of bridge. A new bridge between Perry and Lecompton is being constructed. Estimated time of completion is the middle of July.

Kaw river flowing south into Lawrence, Kansas from Burcham Park. A few weeks ago the entire park was underwater. No traces of the flood remain.
