Part deux
Last Thursday evening, when we came out of the mechanic's garage, a rainbow appeared in the north. To the south, fire lit the sky, interlaced with cerulean blue.

Don't try this at home
Last Tuesday, my friend and I attempted some Halloween cupcakes. I shot some footage, however, there were expletives involved so here are some stills of the process. Much hilarity ensued.

I've been reading David Mamet's Bambi vs. Godzilla on the Nature, Purpose, and Practice of the Movie Business. It's a literate look at the film industry and scriptwriting. The sections on screenwriting technique, aesthetic distance and the five-gag film were fascinating. Mamet distilled years of experience into a few pages.
